Published July 18, 2020

Change Highlights

  • Fixed a bug introduced in 3.6.4 where opening an ecoLog configuration in LinkComm from Hydras 3 could corrupt the previously selected station database entry. For ecoLog, the opened configuration would typically show the correct value for Station ID and other configuration settings, but would show the wrong value for Station Name.

LinkComm v3.6.5

Published June 14, 2020

Change Highlights

  • Fixed a bug where LinkComm could crash when loading a new scripts file.
  • The “Units” field for Satlink and XLink loggers now prevents entry of characters outside the range supported by the logger (e.g., degree symbol).
  • Fixed a bug in Terminal view update logic that was causing the view to appear unresponsive while receiving a large amount of streaming data (e.g., from a log download command).
  • Fixed a bug where data could be excluded from a download if that data had a timestamp that fell within the transition period to local daylight savings time.
  • Fixed a bug in ecoLog “Communications – SMS Commands” where selecting a radio button for SMS command type failed to update the command to be sent to the logger. Pressing the button twice was required to see the command update (3.6.1).
  • Fixed a bug slowing download times (3.6.3).
  • Fixed a bug where download start and end times in the Data tab view did not initialize to an ideal value for some download spans (3.6.3).

  • Fixed a bug where LinkComm would send an unchanged configuration to Hydras 3 (a feature introduced in 3.6.4).
  • Fixed a bug causing “Share/Save File…” button to always be disabled (3.6.4).
  • Fixed a bug in the “Separate data and events” logic where LinkComm failed to detect events when downloading a log from an older XLink logger (e.g., GPRSLink, CDMALink, etc.). This caused events to be included in the graph and data file, even though the “Separate data events” was enabled (3.6.4).
  • Fixed a bug where downloaded ecoLog channel data could be marked bad quality after seeing an actual bad quality value (3.6.4).
  • Fixed a bug where some download spans resulted in downloading an empty data file from ecoLog (3.6.4).
  • Firmware included: Satlink3 v8.28r3127, XLink 100/500 v8.28r3127, X-Link v1.79, and ecoLog 1000 v1.00.4.

LinkComm v3.6.4

Published May 25, 2020

Change Highlights

  • Terminal command is now cleared after it is sent.
  • Added new relative humidity measurement type for ecoLog 1000.
  • Updated OTTBLEConnect helper to v1.00.3.
  • Relaxed BLE scan and connect timings to increase reliability of ecoLog 1000 detect and connect.
  • Log files dialog on mobile now ensures the prompt to delete a log file is the top-most dialog on screen.
  • New Data tab options to “Separate data and events” and to “Flag events” (applies to Satlink and XLink 100/500 loggers, only). When selected, the former separates data and events into separate output files, so long as events can be reliably detected (i.e., firmware supports event flagging or the setup has been retrieved from the logger prior to download). When “Flag events” is selected (available only when not separating data and events), the data output file will have data and events intermixed, but the events will be flagged with “,!E” in the output file.
  • Fixed a bug introduced in 3.6.3 where LinkComm failed to recognize timestamps that fell in a DST transition period as valid timestamps. This caused downloaded output files to fail to contain data with timestamps during this period (e.g., March 08, 02:00:00).
  • Tooltips on macOS are now white with a gray border to improve readability.
  • Firmware included: Satlink3 v8.28r3127, XLink 100/500 v8.28r3127, X-Link v1.79, and ecoLog 1000 v1.00.4.
